Words On My Lips

I'm a sucker for a good love story...if you haven't seen The Notebook, I highly recommend it. Well...that is if you are secure enough to let out a sniffle or two :-)

Anyway...I am signing off for 2006. It's been a great year, some downs, tons of ups, many laughs and moments shared with friends and so many lessons learned that I will always reflect on. I wish all of you a 2007 full of many blessings...the year will be what we make of it. Here's to a great one:

What are the chances that I get super sick on New Yrs Eve :-(
But it's ok, I'm going to celebrate anyhow! So, the countdown is really on now. And what is NYE without Auld Lang Syne...since I have no idea what the words to this song are when I'm actually singing it, so just in case it's playing where you are at midnight here are the lyrics:

Sealing Serum from Biolage's sleek.look line. It gives my hair just enough shine, with no buildup. I have not used the shampoo and conditioner as of yet, but as soon as I do, I will post my review. Ok, back to relaxing and watching tv! Oh...if you have not seen Dreamgirls yet, shame on you. That movie is definitely worth the $9 :-)

You can totally call this a comback!!!

Ok so I totally fell off!!! Things have just been so busy lately, I can't even begin to tell you what's been going on. I must say, I have missed blogging...this was my therapy. Without it thoughts have just been trapped in my head, swimming around knocking into each other. And seeing how Greys Anatomy just went on some ole crazy hiatus, I haven't even had my weekly cry!! So a sistah is all messed up lol. But with the new yr fastly approaching I decided to do a small countdown and pick up right where I left off :-)

So here is a quiz for starters:

1. What did you do this year that you've never done before? made macaroni and cheese!! lol yall know I don't cook
2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year? Did not make a resolution last year...but this year I'm keeping it simple. My resolution is to get better with returning phone calls :-)
3. Did anyone close to you give birth this year? YES!!! So many precious babies this year!! And oh so many times I was asked "when is your turn coming??"
4. Did anyone close to you die? no
5. What countries did you visit this year? mmm....I passed up a trip to Spain :-(
6. What would you like to have in the next year that you lacked this year? this year I want to do some travelling, and work out more
7. What date from this year will remain etched upon your memory - and why? 12/11 my bday!! it was so special
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? mmm, I committed to working on my communication once again...but this time I actually stuck with it
9. What was your biggest failure of the year? i sucked with returning calls lol hence the resolution
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? nothing serious that I can think of
11. What was the best thing you bought this year? I bought so much!! But probably the new kitty that we are buying TODAY!!
